Dad did so many things for others in such small ways, even we took him for granted! He was always there if we had broken down and to taxi even his grandchildren around. I remember he used to wait outside my childrens school if it was raining so I did not need to get the baby out of the car. When there were traffic surveyers outside our house he made them tea and gave them chocolates, and once when there was a crash he sat with a lady who was trapped in her car, holding her for 1/2 hour whilst waiting for the emergency services who unfortunately were too slow to save her. These are just a handleful of examples of good deeds, but there are many more.
